This Kenyan folk song is a lullaby that was sung around Lake Victoria the southwestern region of Kenya. It is also a wonderful example that not all African music involves the use of drums. The gentle piano accompaniment represents the African thumb piano that often accompanies a solo singer while out in the fields watching their herds of animals or singing in ones home.
